Allsop Space's December Auction raises €14.6 million with a success rate of 89% and 91 properties selling under the hammer.
An entire street of 18 retail investment units in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary was the largest lot of the day selling for €920,000 under the hammer. Nine of the units were tenanted with tenants including Specsavers, Elverys and Xtravision.
All eyes were on Lot 24 - Dartmouth Square, an affluent two acre Georgian Square in Dublin which sold after the auction for €142,000 with a maximum reserve of €140,000.
Lot 51, an investment building in Dublin 6 sold for €530,000, €35,000 over the maximum reserve. The property was internally arranged to provide eight residential units with a current rent reserved €60,600 per annum. (It is understood that this property was under offer by private treaty two months ago for approximately €30,000 less).
The first Allsop Space Property Auction of 2013 will take place on Friday, 1st March 2013 at the Shelbourne Hotel from 10:00 am. The catalogue will be available online early next year.
